Various and sundry potions for your OD&D campaign

The potions described here are from the author’s campaign, though they could easily be injected into other OD&D games. If such inclusion is to be random, the DM should add the potions below to the Magical Items Subtable I: Potions matrix on RC/229. Unless otherwise noted, all potions herein conform to the usage guidelines on RC/232.

Potion of Extended Water Breathing
This potion is similar to a Potion of Water Breathing (RC/234). However, as soon as the potion is imbibed and water is inhaled, the character may breathe water indefinitely until normal air is once again breathed in. After normal respiration, the potion’s water breathing affects are dispelled.
